The next morning, after having some refreshments; we headed towards Agonda Beach. It is one of the most famous South Goa best places that are ideal for enjoying some tranquil moments. Our next trip was Cola Beach, which is one of the most beautiful places near South Goa. The place is full of tranquillity and surrounded by the ocean, forested cliffs, and coconut palms. It is also home to an emerald green lagoon. You may reach the spot either with the help of a boat or by car. We reached by our private car!
A delicious lunch in an open restaurant having traditional Rajasthani tents pampered our taste buds. Finally, we started heading towards the old banyan tree.
A Visit to the Very Old Banyan Tree!
After having a great time on Cola Beach, we started heading towards the old and huge banyan tree. It is almost two thousand years old and is a mysterious South Goa visiting place. It can accommodate almost one-thousand people at a time. Earlier, there was a temple situated under the tree as well.
The locals use to enjoy ecstatic dancing under the shade of the tree. Afterward, we returned to the Palolem market area for purchasing some dresses including bottom wears. The price rates are fixed here. Still, you may attempt to go for bargaining.
The way towards Butterfly and Honeymoon Beaches
It is high time to do something interesting! The next morning we planned to head towards Monkey Island, Butterfly Beach, and Honeymoon Beach. For reaching the spots, we booked a boat that took us towards such amazing spots. We caught glimpses of dancing dolphins in water along with greenery all around.
As these places are less crowded, you will be able to spend some time as desired. After clicking some photos and having a good time all along the day we headed back towards Palolem Beach. Having lunch at Hotel KamalGhat Hills, we headed back to our resort. Overall, the itinerary was highly enjoyable. Hope to come back again!
